Our underlying benefits philosophy is this: be fair to our people and provide opportunities for those who take advantage of our programs and resources to increase their personal and financial security.We are looking for : Assistant Facility ManagerLocation: Bayan Lepas, Penang (On Site)What this job involves:Assistant Facility Manager is responsible for driving maintenance programs (including routine inspection, corrective, and preventive activities) with a focus on system reliability, with the application of Best Practices and wide range of engineering principles and practices to:

• Perform daily and weekly facilities inspection as per planned.
• Support on all internal building maintenances including (and not limited to) mechanical & electrical systems, office facilities, plumbing, HVAC, Fire Protection system and achieve desired results.
• Assisting client and team in evaluating products, equipment, and systems.
• Support & Set-up for functions such as Townhalls, VIP presentations and Events.
• Regular checks of building defects through regular proactive walkthrough and update the checklist.
• Reviewing architectural plans and participating in their revisions.
• Support Facilities team on all audit\xe2\x80\x99s preparedness.
• Assist in project coordination on behalf of the client.
• Repair minor plumbing work, sanitary replacements etc.
• Fix minor carpentry works on workstation and tables
• Update daily facilities report & share with facilities team.
• Escort Vendors/Contractors for any facilities related activities during site visit as required.
• Oversee/monitor facilities related maintenance, services, reactive activities (PPM, repair, adhoc, project) at the site.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION, PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

• Good in troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Preferably Non-Executives specializing in Wiring, Electrical Maintenance, Maintenance/Repair (Facilities & Machinery) equivalent from manufacturing background.
• Good electrical skills, basic mechanical and pneumatic skills for - Plant & Process.
• Able to work independently, possess integrity and a right sense of urgency to meet deadlines, including work irregular hours and occasional travel if any urgent support.
• Complying to maintenance procedures and continuously improve machine and equipment.
• Possess a strong sense of responsibility, urgency and commitment to efficiently meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Self-starter, fast learner with a willingness to learn and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.
• Able to work on 12 hours shifts \xe2\x80\x93 as required.
