MalaysiaJob details Posted 18 July 2024 SalaryNegotiable LocationKulim Job type Discipline Reference274757_1721296722ConsultantConsultant, EngineeringAssistant Facilities ManagerJob descriptionOur client is looking for an Assistant Facilities Manager to join their expanding team in Kulim, Kedah.Job Title: Assistant Facilities ManagerLocation: Kulim, KedahResponsibilities: * Assist in Managing Utilities Operations: Assist in the management of operations and maintenance of utilities systems including thermal oil system, chilled water and iced water systems, cooling towers, and compressed air system.

• Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all facilities equipment.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, particularly environmental and safety regulations.
• Vendor Management: Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure high-quality and timely performance of maintenance work.
• Emergency Response: Be available to respond to emergency situations and manage crisis.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on utilities consumption, maintenance work, and any incidents.
• Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for the facilities department.

Qualifications: * Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.

• Min. 5 years experience in facilities management, preferably in a utilities operation environment.
• Knowledge of thermal oil systems, chilled water and iced water systems, cooling towers, and compressed air systems.
• Knowledge of SCADA and CMMS systems.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
