Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Assistant Finance Manager

to support the finance leadership team in managing group reporting, financial planning, and strategic analysis. This role offers strong exposure to corporate finance, talent industry specific, and investment evaluation in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing

Financial reporting

- Assist in preparing and reviewing consolidated accounts, ensuring compliance and listing requirements.

FP&A

- Support monthly financial planning and analysis, providing insights to management for improved performance.

Financial modeling

- Build and maintain financial models to assess project feasibility and returns.

Business case support

- Work with senior management on investment proposals and new business opportunities.

Investment analysis

- Perform valuation and risk analysis on potential projects to support decision-making.

Cash management

- Monitor daily cash flows and recommend fund utilization strategies.

Strategic planning

- Review business plans and highlight key assumptions or risks.

Efficiency improvement

- Support initiatives to streamline cross-company processes and implement best practices.

Ad-hoc analysis

- Provide research, reporting, and financial insights for senior management as required.
What we're looking for

Education

: Degree in Accountancy / Professional Qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.) or equivalent.

Experience

: Minimum 5-7 years in finance, audit, or related fields. Prior experience in FP&A or corporate finance is an advantage.

Knowledge

: Strong grasp of MFRS, IFRS, and regulatory requirements.

Skills

: Advanced Excel, financial modeling, and proficiency with accounting software.

Qualities

: Analytical, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

: Strong communication skills, ability to prioritize under tight deadlines, and a problem-solving mindset.

Pay: RM5,053.39 - RM8,000.00 per month
