Job Description

:

Consolidate and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Draft and review Bursa Malaysia announcements related to quarterly financial results and other significant disclosures. Oversee monthly closing processes, ensuring accuracy in journals and transactions completed by team members. Contribute to the preparation of financial forecasts and annual budgeting activities. Supervise and manage the daily operations within the finance department. Collaborate with external auditors, tax consultants, and other key stakeholders to ensure the timely completion of year-end close and statutory filings. Work with finance teams from subsidiaries to manage payment arrangements, banking issues, and intercompany transactions. Manage bookkeeping and payment processes for select private companies, ensuring both precision and regulatory compliance. Perform other ad-hoc tasks as requested by Management or Directors.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA or CIMA are highly preferred. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Proficient in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting. Strong knowledge of financial regulations, statutory reporting and tax compliance. Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
