Your responsibilities include:Collections Management:

  • Oversee collection activities for Singapore (SG), Malaysia (MY), and Thailand (TH).
  • Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders (Sales Ops team, Legal), and external lawyers.
  • Provide guidance to the team on daily issues, ensuring consistent and timely follow-up.
  • Monitor accounts receivable (AR) aging and coordinate with the Sales team to address aged open invoices.
Month/Quarter/Year-End Close:
  • Prepare bad debts and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisions quarterly.
  • Review the collection tracker monthly to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Handle tech capital recharge compilation and markup computation for the entire group.
  • Compute transfer pricing fees on a monthly and yearly basis.
Reporting and Compliance:
  • Monitor finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).
  • Ensure compliance with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act) and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with Group Finance and Country Finance to update internal process policies (e.g., bad debts provision, manual journals, balance sheet reconciliation).
System and Process Enhancement:
  • Work with the transformation team to enhance collection activities (e.g., system dashboards, automated reminders).
  • Assist in system enhancements related to finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger).
Ad Hoc Responsibilities:
  • Be flexible and attend to any other duties assigned by the Regional Finance Manager and Director as needed.
Requirements:Professional Qualification:
  • Hold accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA Australia, or equivalent.
Technical Knowledge:
  • Familiarity with accounting standards and other internal controls.
Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in accounting and collection functions.
