Job Description

The Assistant Finance Manager will oversee financial operations, including reporting, consolidation, and compliance, within the manufacturing sector. This role is based in Klang and requires expertise in accounting and finance to support the organisation's objectives effective
Financial Reporting & Closing

• Manage month-end book closing and prepare accurate financial statements.

Audit Coordination

• Support statutory audits by preparing schedules and addressing auditor queries.

Tax & Consolidation Support

• Assist in tax computations and financial consolidation tasks as directed by the reporting manager.

Vendor Payment Management

• Oversee end-to-end vendor payments, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and ensuring timely disbursements.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Establish internal control systems and ensure compliance with statutory regulations (e.g., Companies Act).

Risk & Issue Reporting

• Identify, report, and document financial risks and unresolved disputes to the Audit Committee.

Dispute & Bill Resolution

• Track and resolve delayed or disputed bills to maintain financial accuracy and accountability.

Regulatory & Accounting Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory financial reporting requirements.

Professional Career Growth & DevelopmentListed Company

• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in finance
• Must have prior experience working in manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong understanding of finance operations and audit processes.
• Leadership, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems is considered beneficial.
