The Assistant Finance Manager supports the Head of Finance in managing end-to-end financial operations, reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This role plays a critical part in ensuring financial accuracy, timely reporting, and alignment with strategic goals across internal functions and client-facing services. It also involves guiding junior finance staff and contributing to finance process improvements and system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Operations & Reporting
Review and finalize billing documents (invoices, credit/debit notes) prepared by the Billing Control Tower.
Maintain accurate AR ledgers and generate debtor aging reports to support collection efforts.
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, tax filings, and statutory submissions.
Assist in coordinating external audits and managing audit documentation.
2. Treasury & Payment Oversight
Monitor and manage daily cash flow and liquidity planning.
Process vendor payments, commission disbursements, and ensure proper financial postings.
Ensure adherence to internal approval processes and banking controls.
3. Compliance & Internal Controls
Implement finance SOPs, policies, and internal control measures.
