Key Responsibilities

Oversee the preparation and accuracy of the full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing, including preparation of financial statements and management reports. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support business planning and growth. Monitor compliance with local tax regulations, SST, statutory requirements, and corporate governance practices. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant government authorities. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision-making. Supervise, coach, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and continuous improvement. Support applications and management of government grants, incentives, and funding programs (e.g., SME Corp, MIDA, MARA). Implement and maintain effective internal controls and ensure data accuracy.
Job Requirements.

Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field (Professional qualifications like ACCA/CPA preferred) Min. 5 years' relevant experience (incl. 2 years in supervisory/assistant manager role) Strong knowledge in full set of accounts, financial reporting, budgeting & cash flow Familiar with local tax, SST, statutory compliance & corporate governance Proficient in accounting software (SQL/AutoCount) & MS Office (Excel) Advantage: Experience with government grants/incentives (SME Corp, MIDA, MARA, etc.) Strong communication & interpersonal skills for cross-team and external liaison Independent, deadline-driven, with high integrity & professionalism

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
