Support Head of Finance to run the Finance Accounting functions and Reporting. Manage the AP, AR and GL accounting activities and maintain related tools and processes in full compliance with Corporate standards as well as local accounting principles, tax and management reporting requirements. Assist in preparing monthly closing, liaising with external Auditors on financial statements productions. Support the Head of Finance to achieve relevant key Financial objectives: accuracy of P&L, maintenance of financial controls, and positive P&L margins. Assist in the Financial operations of AXA Asian Markets Hong Kong (AMS HK) and primarily responsible for General Ledger Ensure accuracy of accounting tasks Preparation and assistance to Senior Finance Manager on monthly closing tasks as required Assist in managing AP, AR processes and accrual postings when necessary Finance operation process: Finance operations including expense disbursement, employee expenses reimbursement, client receipt and bank reconciliations Handle month-end closing activities including preparation of manual journal entry and account analysis Handle accrual schedule and reclassification of expense among the cost centers Handle general accounting duties and provide support on general matters Monthly balance sheet reconciliation Handle other ad-hoc assignments as required Accounts payable: Manage Accounts payable processes in a timely manner Allocation of payments Maintain financial controls related to Accounts payable (e.g. spending and purchasing of the departments are properly authorized and using the correct account codes) Maintenance of vendor database - review and approval Oversee and process AP data entry and expense claims Manage vendor statements and payments Perform month-end closing activities (e.g. 3rd party expense accruals, bank transactions, reporting, Accounts Payable analysis and follow up of aged invoices) Resolve AP issues and escalate cash flow issues to management\'s attention We are looking for a dedicated accountant who has Accounts Payable experience and is a team player. This role will suit someone with a can-do attitude, and ideally we are looking for someone who has experience in a similar role using SAP. Experience/Qualification Higher Diploma or a degree in Accounting or related discipline is highly preferred A minimum of 2 to 3 years\' solid experience in a finance operations or accounting role Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Coupa) is highly preferred for this role Good time management to meet the task/closing deadline Attentive to details and possess strong analytical skills Good communication of both spoken and written English and Chinese (preferred) Why work for AXA Asian Markets Competitive salary and staff benefits A place to apply your skills, grow your career and achieve your potential Hybrid work schedule
