Job Description

Working for SG region but based out of Malaysia. Responsible for full spectrum of month end and year end closing which includes (but not limited to) reconciling General Ledger and Sub Ledgers (monthly journals, provisions & accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, FX revaluation, etc.) o Maintain & update Fixed assets accounting \xe2\x80\x93 tagging, yearly sighting & month end closing. o Maintain & update Deferred Revenue transactions\xe2\x80\x93 revenue deferral & recognition schedules o Responsible for the preparation and submission (to the relevant Authority) of quarterly GST and annual corporate income tax o Oversee daily accounting operation: \xe2\x80\xa2 Accounts Receivables \xe2\x80\x93 to ensure timely collection and follow up collection issues with internal stakeholders and customers \xe2\x80\xa2 Account Payables \xe2\x80\x93 to ensure timely payment to vendors \xe2\x80\xa2 Inter Company transactions \xe2\x80\x93 to ensure timely cross charges and payments to inter companies o Liaise with regional compliance team and internal/external auditors on BSR and audit matters o Partner with Finance Manager in streamlining processes to improve efficiency and enhance internal control o Supervise accounting team members o Other ad hoc duties which may be required from time to time as assigned by the Finance Manager
