Job Description

Purpose:Assist the GM, HR to develop and execute human resource strategies in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of succession planning, talent acquisition and management, change management, organizational and performance management, learning and development, compensation, workplace relations, health and safety.Roles:

• Implement HR strategies and initiatives that effectively communicate and support the Company\'s mission and business strategies
• Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives
• Develop and maintain key HR processes and policies to ensure continuity of HR practices and policies within the organisation
• Collaborate, develop and roll out key initiatives to build a comprehensive HR digital transformation that enables efficient management of employee data and HR processes
• Work with the People & Culture team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the Company
• Develop and implement comprehensive compensation and benefits plans that are competitive and cost-effective

Education and Experience:

• Recognised qualifications in human resources, learning and development, organizational development
• More than 10 years of experience in general HR, with at least five years in a senior manager role
• Experience in a large retail environment will be an added advantage
• Added qualifications in HR tools, certifications will be an added advantage

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Evidence of project management competencies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (attention to detail)
• Knowledge of and experience with current HR digital tools
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
