Summary Of RoleManages demand planning and produces customer and product forecasts. Researches and analyzes sales trends and other factors related to demand planning and manages forecasting processes and reporting. Maintains working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain components including forecasting, inventory management, promotional planning, basic department management, master data management, item lifecycle and disposition, seasonal planning, DC operations, store ordering and operations, supplier planning and order fulfillment.Responsibilities:

  • Maintains working knowledge of end-to-end supply chain components including forecasting, inventory management, promotional planning, basic department management, master data management, item lifecycle and disposition, seasonal planning, DC operations, store ordering and operations, supplier planning and order fulfillment.
  • Liaison with Merchandising & Marketing relating to New Product forecasting, including updating Planning tools with current projections. To meet the needs of Marketing regarding the provision of embellished products.
  • To lead & facilitates each S&OP meeting to ensure stakeholders is focused on the plans and to lead technical initiatives to improve data analysis such as implementing planning software.
  • Subject matter expert for demand planning, network optimization, and capacity planning while supporting and initiating projects including monthly demand plans, consumption models, network & production strategy optimization, integration of new business & new product introduction plans.
  • Work with both Merchandising and Sales Operations on SKU level transition plan, track execution and call out risk and drive agreement when off-track. Review Phase in, Phase Out (PIPO) and product life cycle.
  • Lead coordination efforts with operations, product management, finance, customer service, for product families within the SEM business.
  • Develops multiple metrics to validate forecasting accuracy, as per industry standards and communicates corrective action plans to ensures timely resolution.
  • Interact with Merchandising, Sales & Operations, Marketing, and Supply Chain to understand demand forecast drivers.
  • Notify supplier and supply planning of significant forecast or capacity changes, promotions, new products forecast and launching in a timely manner.
  • Analyse forecast accuracy on monthly basis. To facilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation which include consensus between functions and stakeholders.
  • Create and drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and S&OP processes. Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics.
  • To lead network optimization process to mitigate costs and maximize service. Develop capacity simulation processes to run sensitivity analysis for growth.
  • Involve in festive planning and communicate with entire department to ensure planning in order.
Requirements:
  • Degree or Masters in supply chain related logistics, supply management, demand management and operational management.
  • At least 7- 8 years of working experience in logistics (Managing 3PL operations, warehouse and distribution).
  • System: SAP and other planning tools.
  • Candidate must be able to negotiate and communicate effectively.
  • Proficient in Analytical skill, Problem Solving and Decision Making.
  • Good leadership.
  • Computer literacy with understanding on MS office (MS Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).
