Job Description

Job Responsibility - Assisting and directing kitchen staff in meal preparation, creation, plating and delivery - Managing and working closely with other Chefs of all levels - Creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes ensuring variety and quality - Monitoring inventory and purchasing supplies and food from approved vendors - Hiring, training and supervising kitchen staff - Ultimately responsible for ensuring the kitchen meets all regulations including sanitary and food safety guidelines - Maintaining the kitchen and surrounding areas in conditions that meet the company standards and health code regulations - Being responsible for food hygiene practices Requirement - Minimum 2 years as Assistant Head Chef or relevant experience - Competent level of English spoken and written - Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an advantages - Attention to detail and organizational skills - Knowledge of health and safety standards - Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work - Familiarity with the best practices in the hotel and catering services industry - Ability to effectively manage the kitchen staff, motivate them and assign duties fairly - Team management skills Remuneration and Benefit - Attractive Remuneration Package. - Parking Allowance - EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Annual Leave and Medical Leave - Company Group Accident Insurance - Medical/Hospitalization Insurance - Medical Panel for Outpatient
