About our client: Our client is a well-known Conglomerate within various business sectors. Currently, they are looking for Assistant Head of Academy to join their team. Reporting to the Director, this role will be managing the operations for their vocational school. Key Responsibilities: Operational Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the operations team, setting clear goals, objectives, and performance expectations. Oversee and direct all operational activities, including admissions, student services, facilities management, and logistics, to ensure seamless operations. Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Resource Management: Manage financial resources, budgets, and expenditure in collaboration with the finance department to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial sustainability. Allocate resources appropriately to different departments and initiatives to meet strategic goals. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory standards, accreditation requirements, and industry best practices. Implement quality assurance measures to maintain high standards of education, student experience, and administrative services. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with internal stakeholders, such as faculty, staff, and students, to create a harmonious and collaborative work environment. Engage with external partners, industry representatives, and regulatory bodies to strengthen the college\'s reputation and enhance opportunities for collaboration. Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and streamline workflows. Implement technological solutions and digital tools to modernize operations and enhance overall effectiveness. Crisis Management: Develop and implement contingency plans for emergencies or unforeseen situations to ensure the safety and well-being of students, staff, and the college\'s assets. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports and presentations on operational performance, key metrics, and achievements for senior management and the Board of Directors. Key Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field. A Master\'s degree is preferred. Proven experience (5+ years) in operational management within an educational institution, preferably in the automotive education sector. Strong understanding of the automotive industry and its specific education requirements. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in leading and motivating diverse teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic decisions to drive positive outcomes. Knowledge of compliance and accreditation standards related to educational institutions. Exceptional organizational and communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders. Proficient in using technology for process improvement and operational efficiency.
