Key responsibilities

• Implement and support LS Retail POS software at outlets.
• Manage software developer to enhance LS Retail POS software to cater to company new processes.
• Manage and provide technical guidance to support team in investigating incidents and identify the root cause and resolve or raise issue ticket.
• Install and configure servers, network equipment , POS systems , POS peripheral and constantly review current IT systems and hardware for any errors or issues.
• Manage and provide technical guidance to support team in investigating incidents and identify the root cause and resolve or raise issue ticket.
• Research, negotiate, and procure IT equipment, software, and services.
• Interact with internal users and external 3rd party vendor to troubleshoot and resolve problems
• Required to travel outstation for system setup, implementation and training when necessary.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, software engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in software implementation and support.
• Good in problem solving, planning and organising skills, flexible approach with good verbal and written skills.
• Knowledge in Business Development Tools such as Microsoft Navision / LS Retail, Axapta, SAP & Oracle is an added advantage.
• Well verse in any of the database such as MS SQL database environment. Other database knowledge such as MySQL & Oracle SQL and server setup, configuration and maintenance.
• Self-motivated, good team player, and able to work independently.
• Experience in Retail system is a plus
