- They work with architects, engineers, and other professionals to translate design concepts into detailed, precise drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Develop detailed drawings based on engineering designs, blueprints, and specifications.
- Use CAD software to produce technical drawings and plans.
- Modify existing drawings based on feedback and project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of drawings.
- Prepare layouts and detail drawings for various projects, including buildings, machinery, and infrastructure.
- Maintain drawing files and project documentation.
