To assist and manage the legal department in handling & dealing with all matters referred to it and to provide advice and guidance accordingly.
To conduct research work and prepare legal opinions for the Company on matters arising and affecting the Company from time to time.
To liaise with external solicitors by giving instructions, receipt of opinions and update of litigation status.
To ensure adherence to the statutory, regulatory and internal corporate requirements.
Job Requirements
Recognized Law degree with at least 4 years related working experience in an established legal firm and/or performing as legal counsel in a large organisation.
Experience in handling corporate and financial exercises as well as property matters.
Able to provide practical solutions to complex legal issues within short and limited timeline.
An excellent command of verbal and written English & Malay
Knowledge of Mandarin is an added advantage as the role requires dealing with Mandarin speaking clients.
Excellent interpersonal skills, management, planning & organize, negotiation and drafting skills with a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
