Job Description

The role will report directly to the Manager, OSS & Core Network. Responsible for managing and coordination all network operations related to Core Network (CN), managing and coordination all network operations related to Data Centre (NFVI) & Cloud Automation to ensure internal and external customer expectations are met through agreed SLAs, KPIs and KQIs. Roles & Responsibilities Conduct end-to-end investigations and setup task forces and war rooms (if required) to mitigate network failures/ outages Communicate and provide timely reports/ updates of the incident to the Senior Management team and relevant stakeholders Represent the operations team in supporting the solution and project teams in engagements with partners/ vendors for the development of business and technical proposals Control cost and continuously identify areas for optimization Represent the operations team in supporting the solution and project teams in engagements with partners/ vendors for the development of business and technical proposals Coordinate all network failures/ outages, including performance issues related to systems, services and NFVI Ensure Business Continuity Plan (BCP) related to Data Center are in place and updated from time to time, and is in accordance to DNB\'s overall BCP plan Carry out inspections on activities in breakdown repairs/ part replacements, especially high-risk components which can lead to service impact Identify areas for improvement in processes, procedures and controls for effective and efficient operations Monitor services delivered by outsourced providers against contractual services and agreed SLAs, and ensure they comply to set standards, guidelines and best practices Collect and analyse information and data on network performance for Core & DC Infra related Require Skills & Abilities Familiar with telecommunications network architectures, systems, operational support and governance processes, especially in an outsourced (managed services) environment Experience in Core Network and Data Center Infra design and implementation is an added advantage Experience in operating data centre (NFVI) infrastructure, capacity planning and implementation is an added advantage With knowledge and experience of managing cloud infrastructure and automation tools Knowledge on a known programing language like phyton, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc will be an advantage Education & Experience Bachelor\'s Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent Minimum 5 years\' experience in network operations or a similar role in the Telecommunications industry
