The Assistant Manager, Area Retail will own the development and management of a network of service points or premium resellers across Malaysia. He/she will lead a team of executives to constantly drive the development of retail footprint of DHL eCommerce in Malaysia with joint ownership to drive traffic into the service points. Essential Duties and Responsibilities .Responsible for the end-to-end process to acquire new partners/ network via licensing or partnership model. .Identify, negotiate, and build partnerships with retailers who have a large presence of stores or customers base to offer DHL eCommerce services at their retail network. .Responsible for the partner onboarding process which includes but not limited to due diligence check, arrange for training and account creation. .Works closely with other team members in retail and marketing team to plan and execute activities to drive retail's revenue and profitability. .Continuously improve, refresh, and revitalize service point network to drive profitability, improve service quality and customer experience. Desired Skills / Qualifications .A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in business development, sales or partnership development in the retail sector .Knowledge and understanding of the retail trade from a service perspective (any industry) .Knowledge of logistics/ express industry is an advantage (not mandatory) .Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Minimum Educational Qualification .Bachelor's Degree in Business studies or a commercially oriented subject (e.g., MBA, Commercial, etc.)
