Michael Page Malaysia have partnered with one of the major Engineering & Construction companies based in Kuching, Sarawak who are looking to recruit two roles; Assistant Manger, Risk and Assistant Manager/Manager Business Continuity. These are two individual roles that are being recruited as the business continues to grow.\xe2\x97\x8f Work with teams from the business divisions and services/support functions to develop and maintain business recovery plans and procedures; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols.\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with the Risk Management team to conduct risk assessments analysing potential business impact of unpredictable business interruptions such as natural disasters, security breach, legal claims, and market disruptions.\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with IT on the IT Disaster Recovery Plan and to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems in the event of natural disasters, viruses, and hackers.\xe2\x97\x8f Scenario planning with business divisions to identify and implement recovery operations and methods to allow the respective division to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with the HSSE team to create and facilitate practice drills for emergency response/evacuation plan.\xe2\x97\x8f Conduct business continuity planning training workshops and refresher sessions.\xe2\x97\x8f Conduct desktop and/or simulation exercises on divisional / departmental BCPs and identify and review weaknessesJoin an established and growing business in the industrial & construction sector|Progression into leadershipTo be considered for this opportunity, you will be a degree holder who has at least 5 years experience in a similar role, either from a risk management background or broader risk/internal audit background. You will be somebody who has experience in the listed deliverables and willing to be hands-on in the execution.
