SALARY RANGE : RM5,760 - RM8,640

A DAY IN LIFE

The Assistant Manager, Cargo Charter - Commercial Operations, is a key player in driving the success of cargo charter services within the commercial aviation sector. This role entails overseeing and optimizing cargo charter operations, negotiating contracts, and cultivating strong client relationships. The ideal candidate possesses a solid background in aviation logistics, exceptional negotiation skills, and a flair for customer engagement.

Charter Sales and Contract Negotiation:

  • Proactively identify and pursue cargo charter opportunities with potential clients.
  • Lead negotiations, finalize contracts, and ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Flight Planning and Coordination:
  • Collaborate closely with flight operations and planning teams to optimize routes, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate ground handling services, permits, and regulatory compliance for seamless operations.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cargo charter clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor strategies, and potential growth areas.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans to position cargo charter services competitively.
Performance Analytics:
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced operational and financial performance.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize processes.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to maintain high standards of service and safety.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business, Aviation Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in cargo charter operations and commercial aviation sales.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with international aviation regulations and customs procedures.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales targets and business growth.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and aviation software.
