Assist in short-listing suppliers and contractors, checking compliance, completeness, and accuracy of tender submissions and carrying out technical clarifications and price negotiations prior to recommendation for Management\'s approval
Provide support to management on the award of contractors and suppliers and with Procurement or Project Executives on material scheduling in order to facilitate effective contract management.
Assist in monitoring and managing the overall administration of the various contracts and sub-contract works including assistance with preparation of progress reports, the recommendation of payments, variation order certificates and final accounts documentation.
Conduct client liaison activity; visits to the contractors to build relationships.
Coach and motivate staff; identify learning opportunities for staff development and advancement; track work progress in order to build staff competence on the job and encourage motivation, pro-activeness and job satisfaction of all direct reports.
