About the role An Assistant Manager, Costing & Budgeting, you will play a crucial role in the financial management of the company. You will be responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and monitoring of cost analysis, budgeting processes and financial planning to ensure efficient allocation of resources and optimal financial management. Job Responsibilities: Collect and analyze cost data for various projects, products, or services. Identify cost drivers and trends to help understand the factors influencing expenses. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure accurate and timely cost information. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement cost-saving initiatives. Provide insights and recommendations to improve cost efficiency. Assist in the preparation and consolidation of the annual operating budgets. Work with departments managers to gather budget inputs and ensure alignment with overall company goals. Monitor actual financial performance against budgeted targets on a regular basis. Prepared detailed reports for management highlighting budget performance and recommending corrective actions. Inventory management and supervising periodic stock-takes. Job Requirements: At least a bachelor\'s degree in Finance/Accounting, or Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA etc). A minimum of 6 years relevant working experience. Prior industry exposure to manufacturing, with a strong familiarity with cost accounting methodologies, Hands-on exposure to ERP systems. Timely and accurate preparing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly report to support the cost analysis and management reporting. Perform month end closing for inventory closing and ledger entry for inventory reconciliation. Assist and participate in business process improvement project. Perform accounting and finance related duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.
