Job Requirements:
- Master's / Bachelor's degree in Counselling
- Registered and licensed Counsellor from Board of Counsellors of Malaysia
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken)
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of working experience in counselling and guidance field
- Provide confidential individual counselling services on career, personal, disciplinary and academic matters
- Provide group consultation services on issues through discussion and mutual support among group members
- Conduct Psychological test such as John Holland Self Directed Search, Leonard Personality Inventory and other instruments to enhance career guidance and self-discovery
- Organise, coordinate and conduct exhibitions, talks, workshops, seminars, webinars, health screening programmes, counselling activities and other events related to Counselling and Guidance Unit and Department of Student Affairs
- Responsible for Peer Helping Programme, Peer Mentoring Programme and Outreach Programme
- In charge of report writing such as Activity Reports, Case Records, Monthly Reports, Statistical Reports, Annual Reports and minutes of meeting
- Any other task as assigned by the University from time to time
