In International Wealth and Premier Banking we serve 41 million customers globally, including 6.7 million who are international, from retail customers to ultra high net worth individuals and their families. We help our customers look after their day-to-day finances and manage, protect and grow their wealth. Retail Banking plays a crucial role in executing the International Wealth and Premier Banking strategy, providing strategic advice, frameworks and guidance to markets, that ensure all customer journeys, products and services are sustainable, inclusive and built with customers at the heart. Retail Banking brings together a united retail business, made up of the following global teams: Segments, Retail Products, Shared Services Contact Centre, Distribution and Enablers spanning Customer Experience, Marketing, Data and Analytics, Business Architecture, Sustainability and Inclusion for International Wealth and Premier Banking.
We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Assistant Manager Credit Cards.
Principal Responsibilities:

  • To drive the Credit Card usage and loyalty by launching Credit Card campaign initiatives, relationship deepening initiatives, card spend and revenue growth.
  • Involved in campaign management including planning, execution and on-going optimization to deliver on business and partnership objectives
  • Participate in product testing and mobile app enhancement
  • Collaborate and co-ordinate with internal and external parties on programs implementation and post marketing evaluation
  • To build a comprehensive marketing plan that maximizing revenue and test & learn opportunities while managing marketing budgets and internal resources
  • Management of third-party vendor including completion of all reviews and agreement renewals.
  • identifying potential partners, leading the negotiation process and managing partnerships through to execution.
  • Relationship building with existing partner brands, evaluating existing partnerships and analyzing ways to amplify the existing relationship
  • To ensure full compliance to internal requirements as per FIM & BIM and to external regulations & policies issued by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), Association of Banks Malaysia (ABM) and other relevant authorities.
Requirements:
  • Preferably a university degree in business, economic, finance and accounting, communication or marketing.
  • At least 3 years of product/ project management experience in a FI or large corporate firm environment.
  • Experience in product management of retail banking or credit card products is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven ability to translate data into meaningful information and actions
  • Excellent communication skills & ability to work with other stakeholders in the bank.
  • Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services industry, competitors and target market.
  • Be highly organized, numerate & articulate and with a good ability to work under pressure
  • Good team player, detail oriented and strong communication skills
  • Display self-motivation, resilience, attention to detail and ability to focus on goal attainment
