Plan, implement, and oversee HR activities across key portfolios, including talent management, career development, professional development, and employee engagement.
Lead and supervise a team to ensure smooth daily operations, with deliverables completed on time and within budget.
Support the planning and execution of HR-related projects and new initiatives introduced by the Unit.
Contribute to strategic tasks such as benchmarking, data consolidation and analysis, proposal preparation, policy reviews, and development of presentation materials.
Provide input into the strategic development of HR functions and initiatives aimed at positioning the University as an employer of choice.
Ensure operational and reporting compliance with regulations from government bodies, ministries, statutory agencies, and accreditation authorities.
Oversee documentation and record-keeping processes to maintain accurate and complete records in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
Conduct data analysis for effective reporting, including dashboards and analytics to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory role.
Proven experience in training, staff development, and talent management.
Solid understanding of the Sarawak Labour Ordinance and related regulations, including those from the Human Resource Development Corporation, Ministry of Higher Education, and Sarawak Immigration Department.
