Job Description

Location: Tebrau, Johor
s:

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate standards.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective or preventive measures.
• Support in incident reporting, investigation, and follow-up actions to prevent recurrence.
• Coordinate and participate in EHS audits, inspections, and legal compliance audits, including monitoring of scheduled waste, workplace safety, and employee health.
• Act as a liaison with relevant government authorities and regulatory bodies (DOE, DOSH, MBJB, BOMBA, JBA) to ensure timely submission of reports and compliance matters.
• Oversee and maintain security and environmental systems such as CCTV, sewage, and waste management systems.
• Monitor and arrange required samples/testing for workplace safety and environmental controls.
• Assist in the development and delivery of EHS training programs to promote safety awareness, compliance, and best practices among employees.
• Support management in continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen EHS culture and prevent workplace incidents.

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5-8 years of EHS experience in manufacturing/industrial environment, with exposure to audits and regulatory liaison.
• Responsible for preparing incident reporting & investigation, EHS Audits & Inspections Schedule Waste, Workplace & Employees Monitoring, and Legal Audit.
• Have exposure in manage security system (CCTV) & Sewage system.
• Able to deliver training programs to employees to promote awareness and understanding of EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Good knowledge of local EHS legislation (DOE, DOSH, BOMBA, etc.).
• Have experience supervising staffs.
