Job Requirement:

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Science/Engineering (Environmental/Safety/Health) or its equivalent.
• At least 5 years of working experience in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH (JKKP) and valid green book holder.
• Familiar with Malaysia OSH Legislation such as OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 and EQA 1974.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite software

Job Specific Responsibilities:

• Provide support to Manager and AVP of Genting Theme Parks - HSC.
• To recommend and develop effective safety strategies, policies and procedures for Genting Theme Parks Operation and Technical Services.
• Assist in the implementation of the Company\'s Environment, Health and Safety Policy and maintenance of the Environmental and Occupational Safety & Health Management Systems, and ISO 14001.
• Supervise and support the work of the Executive Health, Safety & Compliance.
• Carry out audits, inspections to detect existing or potential health and safety hazards, and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
• Provide trainings to all employees to ensure that they operate in compliance with all the standards and legal requirements.
• Conduct HIRARC (Hazards Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) and Job Safety Analysis at workplace.
• Prepare safety evaluation reports.
• Ensure all team members and stakeholders working in Genting Theme Parks to comply with OSH regulations.
• Conduct regular safety briefings and programs to create workers\' awareness.
• Conduct investigation on workplace incidents & report to relevant local authority as required by law.
• Liaise with relevant authorities such as Department of Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH), Department of Environment (DOE), BOMBA and other related departments when necessary.
