The newly established entity, Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific, will be part of the global Mercedes-Benz Group After-Sales supply chain network, covering the regional distribution hub, regional Asia Pacific functions and the center of competence supply chain steering Asia Pacific. The future Regional Logistics Centre is currently under construction and will start operations in 2023. The future Regional Logistics Centre (RLC) in Senai (Johor Bahru) will be a key facility in the global GSP Parts Logistics Network and will serve as a distribution site for spare parts to 24 countries in the Asia Pacific region. It will take care of the importation, the storage as well as the regional management of spare part and accessories distribution.

Your tasks & responsibilities:
- Provide support to daily Operations and Quality Management on Building, Facilities, environmental, Work Safety and Health and Occupational Safety related matters or issues.
- Deputy to Quality Management to ensure compliance with in-country legislation in terms of statutory maintenance, ISO Management and Audits, Crisis Management related tasks and roles.
- Management and overseeing the building authority compliance, building/facility maintenance & repairs, hygiene/cleanliness.
- Fulfilment of Security Officer role by supporting the management of the location in their responsibility to safeguard employees, assets, processes, visitors, customers and partners, information and data of the company.
- Fulfilment of Fire Protection Officer by in accordance with Location and Facility Security policy B 82.
- Fulfilment of Occupational Safety in accordance with the Occupational health and safety policy A 30.2.
- Coordinating with 3PL and suppliers on all installations and refurbishments including outdoor landscaping.
- Managing the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
- Work with various functions to identify projects and develop initiatives to achieve process excellence. Plan and manage environmental activities in accordance with agreed budgets and timescales.
- Conduct office risk assessment and monthly fire safety inspection (office) together with Fire Safety Manager. Ensure any open findings in the report are addressed.
- Inspect building structure to determine the need for maintenance or repairs in compliance with safety and building regulations.
- Over-see building authority compliance, building/facility maintenance & repairs, hygiene/cleanliness including outdoor landscaping.
- Ensure prompt renewal of all maintenance contracts and renewal of all statutory licenses such as fire certificate, licenses and permits, lift, water tank cleaning, building and structural inspection, outdoor signage renewal, etc.
- Ensuring leases and other documentation are fully executed, with details properly recorded.
- Safekeeping and archiving of all legal contracts, documentations for the facility.
- Maintaining a good and timely relationship and completion of matters, such as inspection, handing/taking over, defect management, etc.
- Responsible for handling all projects upgrading and fitting matters from tender document, scheduling and supervision to completion.
- Ensuring prompt submission and proper documentation of all service orders, service reports, delivery orders and invoices.
- Assist in procurement of M&E equipment and support IPS in price negotiation.

Job Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) / Building / Real Estate Management.
- Excellent computer skills especially in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Minimum 5 years\' relevant facility management experience.
- Must possess good technical knowledge of M&E and building maintenance services.
- Extensive communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Able to manage team and handle conflict.
- Strong organizational skills in order to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with good attention to details.
- Good working performance individually and as a team.
- Strong command of English is required to communicate with regional countries in Asia Pacific and MB Global GSP colleagues.
- Possess Fire Safety Manager certificate / fire safety knowledge preferred.
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of the Laws, regulations and guidelines of Free Zone Operations.
