Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Assistant Manager, Finance

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations and supporting accurate and timely reporting while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day financial operations (AP, AR, GL). Handle month-end and year-end closings, including journals, invoices, reconciliations, and reporting. Manage full set of accounts and financial reports. Facilitate payment processes via online banking. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and relevant government bodies. Implement and monitor financial policies and internal controls. Collaborate with internal departments for cross-functional accuracy. Assist in finance-related projects and ad hoc tasks.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent. Professional certification (ACCA, CPA) is an advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or finance. Leadership experience is preferred (coaching or supervising team members). Strong knowledge of MFRS/IFRS and tax regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems. Strong multitasking and time management skills. Willing to work overtime when necessary.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
