About our client:
Our client is a European multinational FMCG business who has been around for more than 100 years, and they are currently expanding their FP&A and Revenue Growth Management team for the Asia Pacific region. They are looking for a strong experienced Assistant Manager to be the business partner who will be responsible for detailed financial analytics and advise management on business growth, with career progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be supporting and reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, based in Petaling Jaya.

• Responsible for analysis of big data and deciphering it to present to the management team.
• Involved in financial modelling and identify issues/risks for process improvements.
• Responsible for detailed analysis of financial information and for preparation of financial dashboards and financial results for both local and regional reporting purposes.
• Active participation in business plan and commercial decisions with the sales & marketing team.
• Responsible for creation/improvement of working templates for multiple stakeholders' input and reporting purposes.
• Experience in PowerBI and automation tools are highly advantageous.
• Perform ad-hoc duties and assignments as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience, in the FMCG industry.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Possess strong critical thinking, analytical skills and able to adapt to business needs and changes for informed commercial decisions.
• Advanced knowledge in Excel, Macro, PowerBI or any automation tools.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
