:Responsibilities

• Implement HSE Policies: Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards to promote a safe working environment.
• Develop HSE Programs: Create and enhance health, safety, and environmental programs to mitigate risks and improve workplace safety.
• Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential hazards and develop control measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
• Train Employees: Provide all staff members with comprehensive training and education programs on HSE practices.
• Monitor Compliance: Regularly inspect and audit project sites to ensure adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
• Investigate Incidents: Conduct thorough investigations of accidents or near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with Authorities: Maintain effective communication with regulatory bodies and ensure timely reporting of HSE statistics and compliance matters.
• Promote Safety Culture: Foster a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
• Prepare Reports: Generate detailed HSE reports and documentation for management review and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of vice (5) years of experience in HSE roles within the civil engineering industry, with a focus on road and bridge construction and maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of Malaysian HSE regulations and industry best practices.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
