Job Description
The role oversees multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while managing building maintenance, expansions, and operational services. It also includes full responsibility for departmental leadership, budgeting, staffing decisions, and strategic projects to optimize facility performance and efficiency
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards.
- Lead risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
- Organize and conduct HSE training programs for employees.
- Monitor and report on workplace safety metrics and incidents.
- Collaborate with various departments to improve safety practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and submit detailed HSE performance reports to management.
A successful Assistant Manager HSE should have:
- A degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in health, safety, and environmental management within the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
