Local plantation company is looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Health and Safety Manager Your new company Our client is one of the biggest plantation companies in Malaysia and is looking for a responsible and dynamic Assistant Safety, Health and Environment Manager to join their team. Your new role As an integral part of the team, you job responsibilities include advising the company on compliance with Occupation Safety and Health Act and also to review existing policies and update according to related laws and regulations. As a specialist in the industry, you will also have to oversee installations and maintenance of machinery and to inspect production equipment to ensure they are safe. You\'ll be required to liaise with external parties in the event of any accident occurrences and to prepare monthly reports which provide statistical information to upper management. What you\'ll need to succeed A minimum of 5 years of experience working in the Plantation/Agriculture Sector is vital and experience in food manufacturing is an added advantage to have A valid Greenbook is necessary to succeed in this role Must be open to travel intensively and be a hands-on individual on site.
