Job Description


The role involves planning and executing risk-based operational, financial, and compliance audits, ensuring effective governance, risk management, and control processes. It also includes providing consultancy on business process improvements, conducting special reviews and investigations, and managing ad-hoc assignments as requested by management.

  • Plan and execute risk-based operational, financial, and compliance audits based on the annual audit plan approved by the Audit Committee.
  • Provide assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.
  • Ensure compliance with standard operating policies, procedures, laws, regulations, and quality management systems.
  • Offer consultancy and advisory services to improve business processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies.
  • Conduct special reviews, investigations, and ad-hoc assignments as requested by management.

  • Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance, Business Studies, or Economics, with membership in a professional accountancy body or Institute of Internal Auditors.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in internal and/or external auditing, with at least 2 years in an Assistant Manager role.
  • Strong organisational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Results-driven with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Preferred experience in the plantation or manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong command of English and report writing.
  • Willingness to travel
