As an Assistant Manager - Internal Audit, you will support the Internal Audit Department in executing end-to-end audit activities, including planning, reviewing, and ensuring compliance with internal audit standards. The incumbent will lead and coach audit team members, perform risk-based reviews and investigations, and monitor the implementation of audit recommendations. Working closely with the Head of Audit and business stakeholders, this role plays a key part in strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control effectiveness across the organization.


In this role, you will also...


Assist in handling departmental-related matters and supporting the smooth operation of the Internal Audit Department (IAD). Perform routine audit reviews, special reviews, and investigations. Assist the Head of Audit in drawing up the audit scope and preparing detailed audit programs covering key risk areas prior to audits. Lead audit reviews by providing on-the-job supervision, guidance, and coaching to team members. Ensure all audits are conducted in line with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) standards. Support the implementation of Quality Assessment & Improvement Programs (QAIP) for IAD. Monitor and track the implementation of internal audit recommendations, ensuring auditees provide timely supporting documents for closure. Provide performance feedback and appraisal input for IAD team members during mid-year and year-end reviews.

Key Requirements:


Education: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline. Experience: Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably in internal audit or a related field, including team management exposure. Languages: + Spoken - English (mandatory); other local languages are an advantage.
