Assistant Manager, Key Account

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To achieve profitable and sustainable market growth within assigned customers, while aligning with adidas brand positioning & strategy and ensuring target achievement

Key Responsibilities:

• To establish strong relationships with customer\'s key stakeholders to increase sales opportunities and brand presence
• To effectively apply sales strategies, policies, and best practices of the Wholesale sales business
• Allocate resources, negotiate, implement, and tracking of action plans to achieve the agreed annual net sales target
• Ensure proper brand representation and in-store execution
• To pursue additional business opportunities and apply a strategic mid-long-term approach
• Manager all interfaces, such as:

• By frequently addressing the requirements across functions
• By proactively coordinating/facilitating meetings with other functions and accounts
• To develop the accounts strategies:

• Ensure quarterly updates of strategic account initiatives
• Share the account strategic initiatives with the local management team
• Establish regular accounts and store visit schedule
• To sell-in and agree on sell-through support

• Proactively lead the alignment of the sell-in/out process across internal functions
• By proactively facilitating meeting/business reviews with the designated operations team and Customer Service
• To conduct and share sell-through information from the account
• Controlling

• Assist the credit function in credit-related issues of assigned customers
• To measure progress on the account\'s KPIs
• To monitor and report the market trends and competitor executions
• To provide realistic business plans and forecast that is aligned with the company\'s mid to long-term plan

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills

• Degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of work experience in Sales or product merchandising-related field, preferably experience in the sport or clothing industry
• A passion for and an understanding of sports along with the desire to translate this passion into building the adidas sports market in Malaysia
• PC literature, excellent oral and written communication skills in English and local languages
• Good planning and organization skills
• Good understanding of Profit & Loss reports
