Job Responsibility Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, both international and local, and providing high-quality audit and assurance services. Managing stakeholders\' expectations and project timelines is crucial and keeping them informed of project progress is a proactive approach. Attending training sessions to stay updated on professional standards is necessary. Coaching, motivating, and developing team members to gain technical competencies is important, and conducting trainings with the help of the in-house technical and training team is part of this process. Managing staff performance, conducting timely performance reviews, and providing feedback is also required. Collaborating with the business development team on pitches and working with the audit business support team to handle engagement financials, such as budgets, profitability, work-in-progress, billing, and collection, is part of the role. Effective communication within the cross-functional and culturally diverse team is also a key responsibility. Job Requirements Professional accounting qualification and/or a bachelor\'s degree in accounting, Finance or related field. Professional qualifications (ACCA, PA, MIA or equivalent) will be an added advantage. At least 5 years of relevant work experience. Strong knowledge in approved accounting standards - MFRS/MPERS, approved standards on auditing - ISA, Malaysian tax laws and Companies Act 2016 and strong analytical skills. Strong exposure in Audit Planning and Risk Assessment in audit engagements is essential. Proven leadership, proactive in problem-solving and team management. Excellent technical and training skills. Proficiency and the ability to adapt to changes in technology are also important. Proactive and have a positive attitude towards challenges. Self-motivating and willing to confront seasonal work pressure. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin speakers will be an advantage. Strong attention to detail, organization, interpersonal skills and time management skills. Good in follow-up and reporting, ability to work independently, multitask, and handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to start work with short notice will be an advantage.
