Job Responsibility Assist the Department Manager in supervising the team to ensure compliance with established store policies and procedures in the meat department Perform cutting and displaying of meat products, including overseeing the freshness and quality of food items. Assist the Department Manager to motivate a team of staff to attain a high level of food quality and comply with the company s standards on food portioning, quality standards, policies and procedure. Oversee the maintenance of the kitchen counters, kitchen equipment and food storage areas to ensure IT is clean, sanitized and organized Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Department Manager Job Requirements At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrate ability to work as a team and can do attitude. Experience working in a supermarket environment will be an advantage. Customer service oriented and have a strong sense of customer service. Greets customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service. Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast paced environment. Ability to work multiple shifts.
