The Assistant Manager (AM) is responsible for leading and delivering student recruitment outcomes while supervising a team of Education Counsellors. This role focuses primarily on personal student recruitment and progression, while also ensuring effective team management, motivation, and supervision. The AM serves as a bridge between management and the Sales team, ensuring strategic goals are met and operational excellence is maintained.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Student Recruitment & Progression
Actively participate in Sales events such as Open Days, fairs, exhibitions, roadshows, school visits, and recruitment campaigns to attract students.
Promote UNI programmed to prospective students and parents using persuasive and professional communication.
Drive new student recruitment by counselling and converting prospective students into enrollments.
Encourage and facilitate progression of current students into higher-level programmes.
Consistently achieve individual sales targets while contributing to overall departmental goals.
Provide accurate, updated information on programmes, admission processes, and career pathways.
Perform or handle additional tasks that given by the reporting line manager
Carry out task based on the policies and systems set in place by the Sales Department Sales & Recruitment Target
Lead, manage, and drive student recruitment activities to achieve UNI Centre & Group new enrollment (NE) targets.
Develop and execute localized sales strategies to increase market penetration and student applications. o Monitor performance metrics (applications, conversion, leads) and ensure timely follow-ups.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with agents, local council and community organizations to generate leads. Team Management & Supervision
Supervise daily operations of Education Counsellors to ensure high productivity and compliance with SOPs.
Coach, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve individual and team recruitment targets.
Monitor KPIs (calls, leads, conversion rates, progression rates) and provide performance feedback.
Escalate and resolve student or team-related issues as the first point of contact.
