Job Description


Job Purpose

Assist to manage overall development from MLP up to CMGD stage. This includes project feasibility, design brief and project implementation as per the time frame, cost, and quality objectives

Job Responsibilities

Development Planning

  • Conduct project feasibility study and design development and concept, overall budget planning plan, phasing plan for management approvals.
  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments such as Planning team, Development Services (ie Product Development, Main Infra Landscape) and Safety and Sustainability (S&S) in preparing development/project brief includes objectives, timeline, and budget for the projects.
Development Implementation
  • Planning overall phasing plan, integrating and coordinate with Township Development Planning (TDP) for overall township for detailed design development and tender.
Job Responsibilities (Con\'t)
  • Assist to manage and monitor the completion of construction works and managing contract as per awarded contract sum, managing the occurrence of variation orders entailing additional cost whilst ensuring quality products and timely completion.
  • Identify potential construction related issues or contractual disputes and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Support the implementation of the quality, health, safety, and environmental management system ie. Policies, activities, procedures, instructions where relevant as per SOP and ISO quality standard.
  • Obtain CCC through coordination with project teams, utility providers and local authorities as per schedule.

Development Monitoring
  • Prepare monthly project management report for management meeting.
Stakeholder Management
  • Assist to manage external parties (contractor, local authority) and internal team (Development Services and Safety & Sustainability, Cost & Control, Finance etc) to ensure smooth implementation of projects.
People and Communication Management
  • Assist and managing people to organize team for project.

Sustainability and Safety Accountability
  • Establish, implements, monitors, maintain and improves the BU, DS, S&S Management System
  • Proactively identifies any changes to departmental or site activities, processes, work practices and/or safety and health hazards, and environmental aspects in conjunction with the executive / supervisors / MR to eliminate, where practicable or reduce the risk to an acceptable level
  • Ensures compliance with relevant legal requirements related to the environmental aspects and safety and health hazards/risk that result from their operational responsibilities and associated work practices
  • Monitor and measures BU performance against DS and S&S objectives and targets
  • Investigate accidents/incidents to determine causes, improve controls and then use this information to improve S&S performance.
Education/Professional Qualification

Degree in Landscape Architecture

Professional Experience

Min of 7 years of experience in Landscape Architecture field.
