Job Description


Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • To ensure accuracy of parts storage according to parts to storage bin types to location.
  • Review parts that do not have specific locations base on HS code and assign to the correct location as identified by 3PL.
  • Review location load and re-assign parts for better storage and picking strategy.
  • Review and monitor location reports from 3PL on possible location management issues such as damage bin, bin capacity and overflow to rectify and verify location exceptions that required changes or correction.
  • Maintain master data of parts location/bin types are based on assigned velocity to optimize storage location.
  • Manage projects with relation to location impact or build-up of new location types upon needed.
  • Support in stock taking arrangement.
  • Analyze & review daily/weekly/monthly operation reports such as downtime, damage and other related reports.
  • Develop strategies streamline logistics processes to reduce cost; implement best practices and continuous improvement.
  • Strategize on continuous improvement that have impact on accuracy and efficient with focus on safety.
  • Preparation of KPIs & Reports in relation with outbound data.
  • Preparation of incident/issue reports at all inbound stations.
  • Preparation of any related Warehouse & Logistics reports and any other ad-hoc reports as and when required by the Management.
  • Manage overall warehouse safety requirements are in accordance with Mercedes-Benz regulations and other occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Manage Lockup area and theft-relevant parts access authorization and process to ensure safety and comply to Mercedes-Benz standards.
  • Review 3PL policy on health and safety regulation when are required.
  • Preparation of KPIs & Reports in relation with Planning and location management.
  • Preparation of incident/issue reports.
  • Preparation of any related Warehouse & Logistics reports and any other ad-hoc reports as and when required by the Management.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics.
  • Experience in 3PL management and safety certification are added advantages.
  • For internal placement, candidate must have a LEAD rating of "Successful".
  • Highly motivated and able to work in a team, good teamwork spirit.
  • Self-directed with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate presentation (preparation and delivery) skills.
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities.
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
