Line Manager : Head, Flights The Assistant Manager / Manager, Commercial (Flights) will manage the development and executing business strategies and plans to achieve short and long-term goals for the business across markets. Accountabilities Develop and execute strategic initiatives to attain both short-term and long-term objectives for the Flights business Regularly collaborate with cross-team members (Product, Engineering, Growth, Finance) to foster collective growth of the Flights business Conduct comprehensive analysis of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and essential business prerequisites to drive business growth Conceiving, launching, and refining products and features, and iterating swiftly based on market needs Generating innovative solutions for complex problems through collaboration across regions, product domains, and functional areas Providing updates on business performance, risks, issues, and optimization strategies Experience & Qualifications Demonstrated track record as a Manager/and or Specialist in a commercial strategy role Possesses product knowledge, expertise and capabilities Expertise in airline & the online travel agency (OTA) sector, encompassing various facets such as product knowledge, operations, commercial negotiations, and legal matters would be a bonus Experience with agile working Possesses entrepreneurial and analytical abilities, with a knack for dissecting intricate issues and effectively instigating and overseeing transformations
