Our client is a leading Korean F&B brand with a strong presence in Malaysia and Singapore.

Manager - Marketing & Brand Management
Based at the Malaysia Corporate Office in Puchong, Selangor, you will report directly to the Country Head of Malaysia with functional reporting to Asst Chief Executive (C-Suite) who is based in Singapore Corporate Office. This role is responsible for the group\'s marketing and brand management. You are required to regularly travel within Malaysia and travel to Singapore and/or any other countries only as and when required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic planning, development, and implementation of the group\'s Marketing & Brand Management (\xe2\x80\x9cMBM\xe2\x80\x9d) including corporate communications, digital marketing, strategic partnership, content marketing, promotion campaigns, event management, public relations, and media management etc.
  • Develop brand strategy and campaigns to deliver high levels of customer demands across different platform to contribute to the brand strategy and enhance brand awareness in the marketplace to insure active customer engagement
  • Brainstorming, planning and execution of local store marketing plans in Malaysia & Singapore
  • Overall, In-charge of group marketing budget & control to optimize MBM investment.
  • Create and manage marketing calendars and guide the day-to-day activities of the marketing teams Development and understanding target markets, business environment, trends, customer journey (branding, acquisition & retention)
  • Lead, align and develop marketing team in Malaysia & Singapore corporate offices and overall responsible for smooth operations of marketing department.
  • Collaborate with respective team on development / implementation of new product/menu and service based on marketing research conducted
  • Manage company\'s website, customer database, social media, blog, visual merchandise, creatives, marketing collaterals and all other marketing & brand management materials/policies guidelines & procedures to communicate the brand through content and design
  • Conduct market research and assessment to determine brand position in the market, analyze customers\' behavior, understand competitors\' activities and integrate findings (reviews/ feedback (all platforms- mfeedback, website, FB, Google reviews) into marketing plans targeted in addressing customer needs. To report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using pre-determined KPIs Utilise data for marketing campaigns, interrogating the organisation\'s databases and external data
  • Continually review changes to the market, consumer trends and the activities of competitors, adjusting the marketing plan if necessary
  • Oversees franchise marketing to ensure franchisees\' marketing plan is in alignment with brand objectives, MBM training and in accordance with Franchise Agreement
  • Stay abreast of current market conditions and trends and incorporate new innovations into company marketing plans to capture potential markets and/or target groups.
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • At least a Degree in Marketing, Business, Public Relations, Communications, or other relevant professional certification such as CIM
  • At least 10 years of experience in marketing with experience working in an organization within a matrix structure
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills to coach, lead, communicate and motivate the team towards meeting business goals and objectives
  • Good verbal & written command of English language as well as the ability to analyze and present plans/ideas in a convincing and impactful manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills to interact and maintain good relationships with all levels of people.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • F&B industry knowledge and familiar with different strategies used by industry players and competitors is a must. Exposure in advertising client servicing background in advertising firms is a plus
  • Familiar with market research methodology, market intelligence function and activities with excellent analytical & quantitative skills
  • A person who is results oriented, self-discipline, self-motivated, resilient to challenges , quick to adapt in fast paced environment.
