Open Position: Assistant Manager \xe2\x80\x93 Operations & Marketing, Bulk (International Palm Oil Company)

An international exporter of palm oil, edible oils and oleochemicals is looking for Assistant Manager-Operations & Marketing, Bulk and be based in the Selangor office.

Key responsibilities include:

-Ensure statutory requirements are met after sale and purchase contracts have been done.

-Prepare checklists for the statutory requirements.

-Make sure payment to suppliers and their delivery plans are as per schedule.

-Make sure all operational activities are carried out by closing date and are communicated well to external parties.

-Ensure documentation is ready from documentation team within 24 hours from cargo sailing for customer\xe2\x80\x99s tracking.

-Monitor on incoming payment.

-Ensure final documents are clean before submission.

-Daily awareness on bulk market by reading market report and updating management on latest information.

-Vessel arrival statistics.

-Update daily Reuters and closing prices/MPOB average price on all products.

-Update prices for olein/CPO/PFAD.

-Degree in Logistics and Operations.

-At least 5 years working experience in bulk shipment operations.

-Well versed in Demurrage calculation, fixing of bulk vessel, chartering terms, charter party agreement, time sheet management.

-Familiar with PORAM/FOSFA contracts or arbitration.

-Familiar with LC negotiation/documentation and issuance of sales contracts.

-Familiar with ERP software.

-Good communication, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skills.
