Job Description

  • Ensure all Malaysia operations are executed in full compliance with the company IMS, SMS, SCM rules and Group systems, policies and procedure
  • Ensure all Malaysia operations are executed in full compliance with the laws and regulations within the countries that we operate as well as the requirements of charterers
  • Reliability checks are conducted for all vessels prior to on-hiring with charterers
  • Ensure all customer enquiries and requests shall be promptly attended to by operations personnel
  • Ensure all vessels complete an Offshore Vessel Particulars Questionnaire (OVPQ2) every year and update OVID / OSVIS system accordingly
  • Ensure all vessels certifications are valid at all times
  • Ensure all vessel specification provided to existing / potential customers are accurate at all times
  • Report and submit weekly operations journal
  • Ensure all vessels comply with Company OE
  • Carry out V&V and Constant Care for vessel minimum twice per annum per vessel
  • Ensure costing is always within budget and minimum downtime
  • Familiar with Malaysia Flag, Marine requirement flag and class requirements
Requirements
  • Minimum Diploma/Degree in Maritime Transportation
  • Posses Marine COC Deck Officers would be an advantage
  • Relevant operations and offshore industry experience
