The newly established entity, Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific, will be part of the global Mercedes-Benz Group After-Sales supply chain network, covering the regional distribution hub, regional Asia Pacific functions and the center of competence supply chain steering Asia Pacific. The future Regional Logistics Centre is currently under construction and will start operations in 2023. The future Regional Logistics Centre (RLC) in Senai (Johor Bahru) will be a key facility in the global GSP Parts Logistics Network and will serve as a distribution site for spare parts to 24 countries in the Asia Pacific region. It will take care of the importation, the storage as well as the regional management of spare part and accessories distribution.

Your tasks & responsibilities:
- To coordinate and monitor outbound processes including picking, packing and loading by 3PL for effective performance and according to process and SPM system steps.
- To ensure that the order processing are according to define priorities, assigned routing, cut-off time and transport plan.
- Monitor 3PL outbound planning and scheduling for an efficient distribution the workforce and stable operations.
- Ensure 3PL conduct a proper checking on each process step label such as the item\'s picking label, shipment label and part list.
- Manage day-to-day outbound process and system process topics and any issues brought up by 3PL.
- Plan regular training with 3PL staff on cargo handling instructions, working efficiency (speed vs. quality), handling equipment utilization, company assets usage, and company policy aspects
- To ensure all orders should be release as system setup or on urgent cases manual release in accordance with route planning and customer requirement.
- Monitoring of packing station traffics, capacity, performance and efficiency.
- Analyze and review daily/weekly/monthly operation reports such as downtime, damage and other related reports.
- Performs other related duties/ tasks related to warehouse operation as assigned or when required by the management.
- Ensure security, safety, cleanliness of the warehouse, and assure the warehouse facilities are well maintained.
- Contribute to other developments of the company on an ad hoc basis.
- Develop strategies streamline logistics processes to reduce cost; implement best practices and continuous improvement.
- Preparation of KPIs & Reports in relation with outbound data.
- Preparation of incident/issue reports at all outbound stations.
- Preparation of any related Warehouse & Logistics reports and any other ad-hoc reports as and when required by the Management.
Job requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Warehouse Management, Logistics or Supply Chain Management or related field and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics and experience in SAP WMS related system.
- Experience in 3PL management is added advantages.
- For internal placement, candidate must have a LEAD rating of "Successful".
- Highly motivated and able to work in a team, good team work spirit.
- Self-directed with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate presentation (preparation and delivery) skills.
- Strong attention to details and technicalities.
- Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
- MS365 skill preferred.
