Assistant Manager or Manager, Human Resource In your capacity as the Manager or Assistant Manager, Human Resource, you will be responsible for the 3 below primary tasks in assisting the Head of Human Resource 1) Recruitment 2) Training and Development 3) HR operations Other duties and responsibilities - \xc2\xb7 Supervise, manage and be accountable for the Human Resource staff and daily or routine HR-related matters at the Perdana University and regularly be in contact with the Group Human Resource Manager. \xc2\xb7 Assist to review, advise and implement HR policies & procedures, manuals, guidelines, rewards schemes & structures to support effective selection, development, retention, and rewarding of employees for Perdana University resources aligned with the Group\xe2\x80\x99s goals and strategies. \xc2\xb7 Assist to provide advice overseeing employee disciplinary matters and ensure that appropriate disciplinary process is being adhered to for the purpose of avoiding adverse legal impact and in accordance with the Employment Act/Labour Law. \xc2\xb7 Assist in the recruitment process end to end including negotiating and successful placement of candidates. \xc2\xb7 Assist to analyze and propose suitable training programs/events for staff benefit and in compliance with requirements such as ISO and etc. \xc2\xb7 Assist in preparing the HR Department budget as required by the Finance Department. \xc2\xb7 Assist in sourcing and review proposals for the renewal of Employee Benefits insurances and the Directors\xe2\x80\x99 and Officers\xe2\x80\x99 Liability Insurance and advise the VC and/or such other person nominated by VC. \xc2\xb7 Assist in represent the Perdana University on IR and ER-related matters and advise the VC and/or such other person nominated by the VC on solutions or remedial actions to be taken. \xc2\xb7 Assist in planning for periodic/annual appraisal exercises to evaluate staff performance and to provide regular feedback to the VC and/or such other person nominated by VC \xc2\xb7 Assist to prepare reports or Board papers required by the VC and/or such other person nominated by the VC as and when required or during meetings or briefings. \xc2\xb7 Assist in overseeing the efficient handling of the following;

  • Payroll
  • Employment Pass
  • Work Permit (New applications + Renewals)
  • Teaching permit
  • MOHE approval and Visa applications for Perdana University Staff
\xc2\xb7 You shall assist in carrying out any other duties, tasks, or assignments which will be directed to you from time to time. Requirements \xc2\xb7 Minimum Degree in any related field and preferably 3 years in managing the full spectrum of human resource of which strong hands-on experience is required in managing end to end recruitment and training and development programs for staff \xc2\xb7 Ability to work with less supervision and possess strong organizing and planning skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English and Malay. \xc2\xb7 Strong team player and able to work under pressure and meet tight datelines \xc2\xb7 Ability to provide good counsel to staff and Management and work towards improvising the efficiency of human resource department Job Types: Full-time, Contract
