Global Service & Parts (GSP) is responsible for the worldwide Service & Parts business of the Mercedes-Benz Group.
The newly established entity, Mercedes-Benz Parts Logistics Asia Pacific, will be part of the global Mercedes-Benz Group After-Sales supply chain network, covering the regional distribution hub, regional Asia Pacific functions and the center of competence supply chain steering Asia Pacific. The future Regional Logistics Centre is currently under construction and will start operations in 2023. The future Regional Logistics Centre (RLC) in Senai (Johor Bahru) will be a key facility in the global GSP Parts Logistics Network and will serve as a distribution site for spare parts to 24 countries in the Asia Pacific region. It will take care of the importation, the storage as well as the regional management of spare part and accessories distribution.

Your tasks & responsibilities:
- Primary location developer and engineer of Power Business Intelligent (BI) datasets and dashboards for visualizing and analyzing technical data.
- Working closely with MBRDI/IT/Service Parts Management/Smart Market Solution to develop integrated and automated reporting improving all our Logistical operational processes.
- Collaborate with team leads, customers, inter-department, and central governance to develop and maintain the options and needs for Power BI dashboards enhancements and change requests.
- Strong collaboration within APAC operations teams to bring our existing reports to the next level regarding automation and live data.
- Analyze key supply chain issues through data-driven forensics, including service performance, demand and supply volatility, cost to serve and inventory planning.
- Collect relevant data and analyze the details.
- Investigate the root causes and make intelligent recommendations to improve supply chain performance
- Support logistics site and APAC management and supply chain leadership to translate analysis into useful graphs and dashboards to visualize and effectively convey the information to deliver the strategic initiatives
- Collaborate and partner with various cross-functional teams within the company, especially in fulfillment, warehouse, and transportation to plan and lead process improvement initiatives.
- Offers consulting, developing, and maintaining reports and analysis to teams within inter-department and central governance.
- Comply with corporate data security regulations and policies.

Job Requirements:
- Degree in technical majoring in Engineering, IT, Science or Supply Chain.
- Valuable previous experience in logistics and data analysis and proficient in handling large data sets with strong quantitative skills.
- Min 5 years related working experience in the automotive parts business, a strong background in supply chain management or logistics experience.
- Proficient in crunching numbers using Microsoft Excel.
- Some knowledge of parts business.
- Knowledge of Power Business Intelligent (BI), Database management, and/or Business intelligence tools.
- SQL is essential.
- SAP Knowledge - Customer Relation Management (CRM), Enterprise Central Component (ECC), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Transport Management (TM), Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Excellent computer skills especially in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills and good team player, especially a good sense of intercultural communication in an international work environment.
- Strong sense of ownership, execution, and communication skills.
- Able to handle multi-tasking and good decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership skill.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates strong people skills.
