Job Description

The Assistant Manager, Risk Management will assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, ensuring compliance with regulations, and analyzing relevant risk data. The role also involves supporting departmental initiatives, staying updated on industry best practices, and providing administrative assistance to the risk management team.

• Assist in developing, implementing, maintaining, monitoring, and reviewing the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, including policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Collect, compile, and analyze data for risk management purposes, including identifying trends, tools, and best practices.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations (e.g., Companies Act, MACC Amendment Act 2018), and risk management standards (e.g., ISO31000).
• Assist and participate in departmental initiatives and projects.
• Provide administrative support to the department and perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in risk management or related fields.
• Risk Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing and assessing risk, including familiarity with frameworks and methodologies.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to mitigate risks.
• Communication Skills: Effective in communicating complex risk concepts to various stakeholders and presenting findings clearly.
• Team Player: Works well with others, demonstrating collaboration and strong interpersonal skills.
• Report Writing: Good written communication skills for preparing detailed reports.
